They are solid and have the utility of military combat boots. I was not disappointed when I unwrapped them after they arrived by mail. Timberland did an excellent job with these boots that give you much for their price. A hundred and twenty dollars is no small sum for most of us mere mortals. Your money will be well spent on these Timberlands.

Overall it is good, but Sperry Top-Sider Mako 2-Eye Canoe Moc I bought recently for my son is better quality at the same price. Sperry is softer and more comfortable.

I have had a well used pair of Timberland Hiking Boots Leather since 1994 (that is a long time to last me, I go through boots and trainers quickly) and I loved them. This shoe is the perfect replacement as it is comfortable, needed no break in period, is waterproof and fits perfectly with medium or thick socks.
